The bulk of the cost for this team is the tournaments themselves.  They average $350-450 each.

WWAST (Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team), represents some of our nation’s bravest and most determined heroes, soldiers and veterans.  These young extremely athletic men have sustained severe injuries resulting in amputation while serving in the military/war, and through extensive rehabilitation, they have become competitive athletes again. Their armor now includes prosthetic legs and arms, along with extreme perseverance and attitude.  Together they comprise the WOUNDED WARRIOR AMPUTEE SOFTBALL TEAM.

We have opened up our roster to allow girls from all towns to join.

The Billerica ShamroX was formed in 2011 to provide a new level of competition in softball.  Billerica is a great sports town and has a lot of talent in all sports. 

Our focus is on hard work and advanced training.   Our coaches research the latest techniques and drills to get maximum results.  We come to every practice with a plan and new things to continue building the skills of the players.  We practice very hard and the girls are pushed to the next level.  We work in small groups and no one sits idle at practice.  The girls are instructed on the finer points of the game as well as reviewing the basics to ensure a strong foundation.

We are looking to play in 8-12 tournaments within 1-2 hour driving distance in 2012!!  

We are a new 12U team.

Billerica Softball has been very popular for many years.  We have seen a lot of girls who are very good at softball in town, but they have no outlet to play at the highest levels of competition on a team in town.  The Billerica ShamroX saw this need and formed this team. 

Our goal is teaching softball. 

We saw some girls getting older and were struggling to play the game.  This is why we got into coaching, to teach the skills needed to play your best.  We build a solid set of skills and the confidence to compete. 

We want to provide the best softball in Billerica.  We train very hard and will take your game to the next level.  We are a tournament team.  We work hard, have fun and play against the best teams from the area.   We are still looking for some girls who want to have more of a challenge and want to be one of the best softball players in town or even the whole area.

The Billerica ShamroX will train at Future Stars in Dracut, MA all winter.  We are excited to announce this latest addition to the great training we provide.  We will utilize this great facility to bring your softball skills to the next level.  There is a lounge for the parents to relax.  Clean and setup for all types of training.
